Stanley Hall, PhD. LMFT, AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor

We have offices in Pittsboro and Cary. Saturday and evening appointments are available most days until as late as 10pm each week, but they fill up fast! All of our counselors are exceptional and dedicated to your success.

Hi I'm Dr. Hall, Have you already tried to just improve your relationship by practicing communication skills or just trying to hold back your opinion. Maybe you have tried listening to your friends and family member’s advice about how you just have to sacrifice more and not be so needy?
I know everyone says that communication is the answer, but really I’ve helped hundreds of couples figure out how to create a relationship where rather than fighting they are now laughing and smiling about the same problems.
This doesn’t seem possible perhaps you say, everyone knows that you have to fight in a relationship or you have to just give up your dreams to make a marriage work. I disagree and think that these may be the worst ways to go forward. I believe that there is a better way, a way to actually get to know yourself and your partner at a deeper level where you can laugh at the simplicity and the magic feeling when you understand what’s really happening.
I know how much it hurts to think that your relationship is on the rocks and it feels like your whole life is collapsing around it. Your heart aches and you want more than anything else to fulfil your dream of living in a peaceful happy relationship. You didn't realize how much this hurt until recently maybe, but now you know that you need help now and you are ready to commit and you want results ASAP! I know how to soothe your relationship pains that keep you up at night and wake you up in the morning and make you feel numb during the day or just angry and frustrated. I've been helping individuals and couples for close to 20 years and have studied the deep research behind your heartache. I offer you the balm to soothe this pain and have the relationship of your dreams. I'm especially good at helping people let go of their anger and finally letting go of their sex addictions that seem impossible to fix. Let me help you today. You can schedule online for a free initial consultation with me today.
To meet with Dr. Hall please sign up for a consult on our scheduler https://hallfamilytherapy.clientsecure.me/ or email him at Stan@HallFamilyTherapy.com to discuss setting up a meeting and finding out if this is the best fit for you.

Our many other talented counselors are available now for appointments that you can schedule using our online scheduler at SimplePractice.

Michelle Schaefer: I truly believe that therapy is for everyone and that a successful therapeutic process depends on a strong client-therapist relationship. So, I really appreciate the time you are putting into your search to find the person who best aligns with you.

I provide a strength-based, person-centered, affirmative approach that is warm and welcoming — a safe space where clients can share, process, and experience their thoughts and emotions. Working within a client's identified goals, I aim to offer new information, new skills, and a new frame of reference from which they can envision a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

I am committed to meeting clients where they would like to begin their journey, working collaboratively toward healing, acceptance, purpose, well-being, and fulfillment. I want to foster the uniqueness and authenticity of each client, and I purposefully incorporate multicultural concepts and client values into the process. I integrate complementary therapy models and techniques in order to offer a highly personalized approach.

I am passionate about improving the lives of individuals, children, and families. I have more than 10 years of experience working in nonprofit organizations such as the Florida Children’s Forum, Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, and Volunteer Florida.

Practicing under the direct supervision of Dr. Hall, I am currently finishing my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy at Capella University. As part of our low-fee program, I accept clients without insurance.

My name is Heather Alexander and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.  I am completing my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University.  As a mother of 8-year old twin girls and a 9-year, I find myself busy with my three daughters, my dogs, family life and anything that involves nature.  I find peace in nature and warm tea.  I have spent my last 15 years working in the pharmaceutical industry in various capacities.  With most of my time spent in clinical trials, I have developed a deep compassion working with children and families.  I also spent three years working in sleep medicine running the insomnia clinic for adults and pediatrics.
As a therapist, I take a very humanistic approach with each client, valuing the unique path that they are on.  I see my role as a guide, to help navigate through some of the detours or speed bumps life has, knowing that there are many ways to solve a problem.  I specialize in pediatrics and appreciate how adolescents and teens operate in such an exceptional way.  I do play therapy as well as offer a tactile environment to ease anxiety for clients.
I offer face-to-face therapy sessions as well as telehealth.  919-740-3936   heather@hallfamilytherapy.com

Paul M. Kalb Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern: I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Social Work degree conferred in 2005. Some of my prior research has included: Treatment of anxiety and depression in older adults in rural communities with psychotherapy versus medication management and the causes of homelessness amongst the Veteran population in Maine. While on active duty in the United States Navy Seabees, I had the opportunity to help people in disaster areas and war zones worldwide. Another valuable experience includes a profession that many would not consider as part of the helping profession; I operated municipal buses in Maine's largest city for five years.  While employed there,  I learned the critical skills of empathy, listening, the value of honesty, and a strong desire to meet the client's needs daily.
These experiences laid the groundwork for my desire to guide people who need therapeutic help. As a counselor, I am committed to assisting clients in working through life's challenges, and I am willing to utilize various therapeutic modalities to help begin the healing process.
A fun personal fact about me is that I am an avid woodworker in the winter months, and some of the projects that I enjoy the most are building furniture for my family.
I am interested in areas of practice: Individuals of all ages, groups, multicultural counseling, veterans, active-duty members, and their families.
Disclaimer: All counseling services are to be conducted under the direction of Dr. Stanley Hall, clinical supervisor, and practice owner.
